Kate joined Sentinel in December 2005, assuming management of the Sentinel International Equity Fund. Previously, the Fund had been managed under a sub-advisory agreement since its inception in 1993. Kate also co-manages the Sentinel Conservative Allocation Fund.

Before joining Sentinel, Kate was International Equities Portfolio Manager for Strong Capital Management in San Francisco. Prior to her tenure with Strong, she was Managing Director for Wells Capital Management, also in San Francisco. Over the course of her investment career, Kate has managed international and domestic equity portfolios for institutional, mutual fund and high net worth investors at various firms based in San Francisco and London.

A graduate of Stanford University, Kate is presently Chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee for the CFA Institute and past President of the CFA Society of San Francisco.

Lawrence joined Sentinel in December 2005, bringing with him extensive experience in the investment industry, with more than 6 years in international equities, including institutional sales and investment research.

Before joining Sentinel, Lawrence worked for Wells Capital Management as a senior international equity analyst. He holds B.A. degrees in International Relations and History from Syracuse University. Lawrence is a member of the CFA Institute and the Security Analysts of San Francisco.

Jamie joined Sentinel in October 2006, working with the International Equity Team in Sentinel’s San Francisco office. Jamie brings with her vast working experience as an analyst and portfolio manager, and specialization in Pacific Basin equity markets. Most recently, Jamie was employed at Newport Pacific Management/Columbia Management, San Francisco as portfolio manager/analyst and member of a team overseeing $1.4 billion in international and regional portfolios. While at Newport Pacific, Jamie was primarily responsible for covering Asian equities. Prior to that, she held positions at Jackson Square Partners as an analyst, at Putnam Investments as a senior investment associate, and at Loomis, Sayles & Company as a research assistant.

Jamie earned her B.A. at Smith College, and studied financial accounting, economic theory and managerial finance at Harvard.  Jamie recently earned her CFA designation and  is a member of Security Analysts of San Francisco.
